The Florida 2022 midterm election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 8. The primary is Aug. 23. Remember, you have to be registered in your county of residence to vote. Here’s how.

In the midterm election, Floridians will vote for lawmakers that will have a direct impact on key issues that affect the community, including education policy, reproductive rights, the environment, housing, and affordability, to name just a few.

If you want to exercise your right to vote, first you must register. The deadline to register for the primaries is July 25, and for the November election, it’s Oct. 11.

You can register online, in person or by mail. 

Online:

You can register to vote online at RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov.

In Person:

You can fill out application forms at the DMV, or at the supervisor of elections or tax collector offices.

By Mail:

To register by mail you should visit the US Election Assistance Commission website and print and fill out the National Mail Voter Registration Form. Then send it to your local election office.
