Early voting for the midterm election began in most Central Florida counties on Monday.

Voters interested in voting early can cast their ballots at either an early voting location, or at their local county supervisor of elections office.
To vote early, you’ll need to bring an identification with a picture and a signature. IDs allowed include: Florida driver’s license, US passport, Florida identification card issued by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, Military identification, student identification, retirement center identification, and public assistance identification.
The early voting period varies according to the county. Sumter County will start on Tuesday, Oct. 25, in Volusia it will begin on Wednesday, Oct. 26, and Marion County’s early voting locations will open on Thursday, Oct. 27.
Early voting ends on Nov. 6 in Orange, Seminole, and Osceola counties. It will last until Nov. 5 in the counties mentioned before.

If you decide to wait until Election Day to vote, you’ll have to go to your assigned polling place.
You can check all the early voting locations of your county at your local county supervisor of elections office website. There you’ll also find a sample ballot, where you can familiarize yourself with it, and study the candidates.
