New Music
“Saturno”
Rolling Stone magazine calls Boricua sensation Rauw Alejandro’s third album “euphoric post-pandemic dancefloor fun.” And for most people, “post-pandemic” and “fun” is all they needed to hear.
The LP that premiered Nov. 11 is infused with reggaeton-inspired funk, pop, and techno, and as the artist says, it takes his fans “on a ride through my mind, my emotions—the sounds that influenced me.” Besides the cosmic “Saturno,” the album includes “Lokera,” with Lyanno and Brray, “Corazón Despeinado,” and “Dejau’,” featuring DJ Playero.

“The Final Score”
If you are looking forward to la Copa Mundial de Fútbol, which will take place in Qatar from Nov. 20 to Dec. 18, this series dedicated to a dark day in soccer history will keep you riveted. Filled with action, suspense and intrigue, “The Final Score” is a Colombian miniseries about the tragic 1994 murder of Atlético Nacional’s star player Andrés Escobar, and how major cartels may have been involved. Each episode of the 2022 drama that stars Laura Archbold, Carlos Mariño and Juan Pablo Urrego opens with a disclaimer that the show is a “fictional series inspired by fact.” But regardless, this superb production makes for a riveting binge-watch!
