This latest announcement from Disney comes amid an ongoing feud with Gov. Ron DeSantis, who has repeatedly retaliated against the company after it publicly opposed an anti-LGBTQ bill.
In the days following former president Donald Trump’s indictment, solicitations from his 2024 joint fundraising committee began. The committee has reportedly raised $7 million so far.
They include the co-founder of Moms for Liberty and major supporter of the "Don't Say Gay" law, and a businessman who runs a ministry focused on “discipleship and outreach to men.”
The program focuses on high-growth tech startups founded by Latino entrepreneurs and will be recruiting 20 to 25 eligible startups to join the initiative.
